WINE LABEL + PACKAGING DESIGN
I don't know what we were expecting... but this really was an outstanding representation on our brief. We wanted something simple, that still packed a punch. We got just that.
We were asked to create two very similar labels that still clearly show a difference in wine variety. The clients vision was a 'Death Valley' theme, to pay tribute to their brand name Mori and the vineyards surrounding landscape in Napa Valley.
This projects was started with the Death Valley idea, with the intention of creating a label that showed this was a new rebellious New World wine, but also had a touch of class and sophistication that would stand the test of time unchanged. Skulls and Skeletons were an obvious go to... nothing shouts death louder than that.. but doing it in a way that also evoke a sense of feeling powerless to the elements, the skeleton knelt down, almost begging for one last drop of water... or in this case... wine!
