BRAND DESIGN
Rebellious design, from a wilder mind.
We're not just another creative design agency, we like to think we're a bit different and see the world through a slightly distorted rebellious filter. Design, like life, should be fun, exciting, rule breaking and boundary pushing. It should carry its heart on its sleeve and be instantly
recognisable and to the point, without messy fluff and clutter... if you want something a bit different, we'd love to help you see things from a wilder mind.
Creative design that breaks the mould.
Creative design is a visual representation of who you are and what you're about. No matter what you do, or what industry you're in, the right creative design can really help catch the attention of your target market in a thought provoking way, and ignite a feeling of excitement or tap into their imagination. No voodoo or magic spells needed... just showing them your kickass personality without the bull is enough!
Wanna stand out?
I predict a riot!
Show everyone who you are with a clear brand identity, be rebellious and don't hold back. Whether its a logo, packaging, posters, a website, your social media presence or just the marketing materials you hand out... your brand identity has to be rebellious, consistent, bold and not afraid to stand out in the crowd! That way, you'll grab your target markets attention and become the rumour everyone is talking about!
Now thats what I'm talking about.
Having a strong online presence is more important than ever, but with most people reaching for their smart phones to shop, make a booking or browse their favourite websites, your mobile site needs to be just as eye catching and awesome. We have a variety of options for all purposes and budgets, from pre-designed ready to go sites that can get you online quickly, to fully customised one of a kind sites that really stand out!
Road Trip in Ridiculous Luxury!
Being able to start at the very beginning of a start-up offers so much freedom in creativity, and the guys at JDW were quite happy to let me run with my own thoughts on the design. I started with the colour palette on this project, they just seemed to be stuck in my head when I pictured the website design... then I used it to create and luxurious brand identity, with an adventurous feel.

Popcorn for hungry Punks.
Going back to my punk days as a teen, with ripped skinny jeans and a pink mohawk... I had a pretty good understanding of what punk meant... and how that rebellious outlook could be translated into a logo that was undoubtedly PUNK. Edgy block lettering may seem too obvious, but sometimes the most obvious choice, is often the right one!

A Death Valley inspired wine label.
For this projects we started with the Death Valley idea, with the intention of creating a label that showed this was a new rebellious New World wine, but also had a touch of class and sophistication that would stand the test of time unchanged. Skulls and Skeletons were an obvious go to... nothing shouts death louder than that.. but doing it in a way that also evoke a sense of feeling powerless to the elements, almost begging for one last drop of water... or in this case... wine!

Where's all the Rum gone.
To capture the 'Pirate' feel in this new Rum brand, we decided to use old school seafaring style typography for the logo, replacing the 'o' with a scarred and weathered skull. The black smoked glass bottle seemed to add to this moody atmosphere, resembling weathered washed up bottles on the beach, that would definitely stand out next to the usual boring bottles on the shelf.
RECENT PROJECTS
The Indiana Jones of the antiques world.
Having been quoted as 'The Indiana Jones of the antiques world', this seemed a good place to start. 'Obtaining the lost' became the strap line that we builded the brand identity from, with a dark and atmospheric website that was intriguing to flick through.

A thousand words...
or just a kickass label?
They say a picture says a thousand words... but sometimes your customer doesn't have the time to hang around and read them! Especially when staring at a shelf packed with wine on a Friday night, when all you want to do is kick off your shoes and pop the cork! You can't grab a thousand words and go... but you can make an instinctual decision based on a label that says everything it needs to say, and taps into your personality without all the bullish*t. You can't judge a book by its cover.... but Vino - absolutely.
